Keanu Reeves Is Shadow in First ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ Movie Trailer
There is now a trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which provides fans with their first opportunity to hear Keanu Reeves in the character of Shadow the Hedgehog, the new antagonist of Sonic the Hedgehog, prior to the premiere of the film on December 20.
Sonic (Ben Schwartz), Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey), and Knuckles (Idris Elba) have a confrontation with Shadow in the trailer. Shadow is shown as a type of evil twin to Sonic, but he is driven by sadness and darkness rather than love and camaraderie. Knuckles is played by Idris Elba. The group approaches Dr. Robotnik, played by Jim Carrey, who has grown his hair out in order to solicit his assistance. And at the very end of the video, we are introduced to a whole new surprise character.
